THE WORKSHOP

PROVEN TO ENGAGE WITH STUDENTS

KYUP! Project programs are culturally sensitive and have been developed with experts and leaders in policing, psychology, education and martial arts.

Packed with learning, our safe, hands-on workshops provide:
> real life stories and practical advice
> content driven by young people
> empowered decision making for everyday scary situations
> judgement free space for women and kids to feel safe and connected
> effective physical self protection techniques

Students leave with the power to:
> trust their instincts, tune into intuition, identify potentially unsafe people/behaviours/situations, physically protect themselves and their property
> raise their voice and stand up for themselves and others

"The KYUP! workshop was one of the most positive experiences I could hope to share as a Year Adviser. Mel is a truly inspirational woman and I cannot thank the team enough for giving our girls this amazing experience.”

Tracy WalshYear 10 Advisor, Cronulla High School

"I’ve always wanted to know how to protect myself. I learned to believe in myself, to see the positive side, always have a laugh and to appreciate the nice comments people make about me more. I really enjoyed it.”
